I know, it's not that funny, but I couldn't help myself!
Do you want to learn more about animo acids and protein structure? Be sure to click on the small yellow arrow on the left of the page to get to the next page on the site (I didn't see it at first!).
Did you know that proteins actually have 4 different structures? They are very complex molecules, indeed!
Wow!...I learned a lot of new stuff...I never really knew any Amino Acids before this...Thanks!

Pro-teins... wow
ReplyDeleteThats pretty complex... that animation in class with the twisting and folding was pretty cool

Wow!!! That's awesome! I mean, I knew they were complex, but I never thought they were THAT complex!!!

Wow. First to post a comment. Cool website Leslie!

i like proteins have their unique shape unlike the other organic compounds!

I didn't know that proteins were so complex! I was really unsure about amino acids but now I feel much more confident! The animation was extremely helpful!
ReplyDelete-Liliana P. 7A
That looks so much more complex then the Amino Acid we saw during class!
ReplyDeleteJacob S. 7B
I did not know that proteins were so important! I really need a lot more of them to stay healthy.
ReplyDeleteKevin C. 7F
thanks for the moving diagram..... it really helped me to understand what the structure of a protein is like
ReplyDelete-Edie H. 7G
I really like the animations!! They're interesting and helpful!
ReplyDelete(the joke about pro-teins is pretty funny! :) )
Zi Ying C. 7E
That is a really cool picture! it is pretty complex.
ReplyDelete(haha, pro-teins)

This animation was really helpful, now I understand this topic more clearly.
ReplyDeleteThe joke was also funny!

That is really interesting about the 4 structures. I definitely learned a lot. I didn't even know tertiary was a word.
ReplyDeleteThe protein structure pictured is much more complex and twisted than I imagined it was. But what do the multiple colors represent?
ReplyDelete(Ha. Pro-tein. :) )

Thanks for posting this. It really helped
ReplyDelete-Julia K 7E
WOW After you posted this and I read it I kind of get now
ReplyDeleteHaha! This helps a lot!

protiens can really be confusing

i love the pic of the protein! :)
ReplyDeletegreat website leslie!!!

it's so cool that proteins are just these long lines of amino acids folded and twisted into so complex and important. wow, it just show how even the simpilist things can become complex and useful
ReplyDeleteI'm a protein for my mini poster. i just finished. i understand proteins a whole lot better now.
ReplyDelete-Elliot W. 7B
This is very interesting.
ReplyDeleteNicolaj C. 7F
Cool! i loved learning about all of the organic compounds!
ReplyDelete(that funny pro-teins! haha creative :)

WOW that helped a lot!! Everything is a lot clearer now thanks
ReplyDelete-Lucy B. 7A
This video helped me to realize that protiens do baiscally everything insode of us. They even make up most of DNA!
