Click here to read more about the cell membrane. Be sure to read the information about passive and active transport as this will be discussed in class this week. Also, feel free to check out the cell structure and function tabs to review the information we have been covering in class.
Do you want to learn more about the different types of protein channels that make up the cell membrane? Click here to view an animation on this subject. Did you take the quiz at the end of the animation? How did you do?
I really liked this link! It really helped me understand the parts of a cell membrane. I loved how they gave you a mini quiz on the parts so you could test yourself on how well you knew the parts of membrane!

ReplyDeletethis is another cool cell membrane quiz!

That was really fun and intersting.

The links are really helpful. The "quizzes" at the end of the links are effective in helping me remember the functions of the different components that make up the cell membrane. Please post more links that have a similar format such as these! ^_^

i like this animation better than the textbook one.
ReplyDeleteThats some valuable information:)
ReplyDeleteThat link was really interesting!!! I didn't know that there could be two membranes in a cell... I liked the quiz at the end... :)

i like how they had a quiz afterwards, to see if u were paying attention. i liked this link!

Thanks for posting this! The animation was extremely helpful! I've noticed that we've been learning a lot about the cell membrane lately... Are we going to learn more about the other organelles as well?

This was really interesting and helpful! i like the analogy of a plastic bag with holes. The quizzes helped me a lot too.

It's so amazing to think that something this complex can exist in a tiny cell.

cell membranes are difficult 2 understand, but this link has helped me

Thanks this helped me understand the different parts of the cell membrane. Now I know that the cell membrane is composed of lipids witha few protien channels
ReplyDeleteThe quiz was easy thanks to your teaching

i think they put some wrong info in the article. it said that the cell membrane keeps out the nasty stuff but that is not true.

This helped me a lot on the quiz! Thanks!

this is really helpful i understand what is in the membrane and what it does thanks :D

I didn't know really quite understand this and today we learned more about it in class
ReplyDeleteAva L. 7G
Even though I had this to study, I still did not do good on the quiz. :(
ReplyDeleteKevin C. 7F
this was really nice, seeing more in depth the structure of the cell membrame and what it does
ReplyDeleteI still dont get why fluid-mosaic models are called flui-mosaic. It doesnt really make sense
ReplyDeleteLila C. 7A
This is such a complicating structure... that makes sense now!
ReplyDeletethanks

I enjoy how much more clear the structure of the membrane is now! thks!

Does the size of the lipid bilayer determine how much we way?
