Click here to view a cellular respiration animation. Click on the link to the, "Big Picture." Feel free to watch the animations about glycolysis, Krebs cycle, and electron transport if you want a more detailed description of the events that occur during cellular respiration.
This was very helpful. It was easy for me to learn since I could follow along visually. The input, output, boxes helped me, along with the chart of differences between cellular respiration and photosynthesis. I hope you have a great Thanksgiving!

After watching this, the hw was easier to do. Thanks Leslie!

Wow! I saw all 4 animations and they really helped me a lot! When i was watching the one about glcyolysis, it asked me a question to check my understanding. I thought that was pretty cool. Thanks for posting this!
ReplyDelete~Liliana Pina P. 7A
The video wasn't that helpful, but the understanding questions were. I wish they would go into more detail on the reactions.
ReplyDelete- Sofia Collins, 7G
I never knew about these 3 steps for cellular respiration.
ReplyDelete-Brianna W. 7E
Oh, ignore my last comment, I just realized that the animation does go into detail on the reactions in the other tabs! Sorry!
ReplyDelete- Sofia Collins, 7G
WOW!! that was really helpful and cool at the same time
ReplyDelete-thanks Lucy 7a
This was really helpful; it helped me to understand what glycolysis does.
ReplyDeleteThis one is WAY more informative than the vimeo videos. Thanks Leslie!!!

When we started talking about Cellular Respiration, I was really confused. I mean, I know the main idea, but I wasn't really sure about the starting materials and the products, just like I was with Photosynthesis. This animation made Cellular respiration clearer and was very easy to follow. Thank you, Leslie!

That was really cool, informative, and helpful. Thanks for posting this!!!
ReplyDelete- Paola W. 7E
The four animations were quite good, and surprisingly detailed. I thought the "Check your Understanding" questions were kind of pointless, because the answer is announced right before the question is asked. The questions probably should have just been all grouped at the end, as review questions.
ReplyDelete-Jeremy E. 7B
This video helped me with my questions. Thanks for posting this Leslie!
ReplyDeleteKelly L. 7E
At first I didn't really understand Cellular Respiration, and the more we talked about it, the more confused I became. This video really explained it in detail. I watched all four videos, and now Cellular Respiration is almost an easy subject to learn! Thanks so much!

This really helped me alot! Thanks for posting it!
ReplyDelete-Brian O. 7B
I'm glad we don't have to learn about the krebs cycle and that stuff. It's confusing!
ReplyDeleteSaraf R. 7F
Cellular respiration is really complicated! I'm glad we don't have to work that hard.
ReplyDeleteSaraf R. 7F
This was such a helpful animation! It was a little confusing, but it made more sense as it went along. I never knew that cellular respiration consisted of those three steps! Thanks for the post, Leslie!
ReplyDeleteStephanie N. 7A
This was very helpful.

This was very helpful

Thanks I didn't really understand that glycosis, the krebs cycle, and the elctron transport chain were all part of cellular respiration.
ReplyDeleteWhen the lady in the video said that cellular respiration is kind of like photosynthesis in reverse, it made me wonder why plants need to take in anything at all. Plants could just take in a small amount of carbon dioxide and water, and the use what it gains from photosynthesis to complete cellular respiration and vice versa. Plants would never run out of materials! Why doesn't that work?

this video was really helpful and helped me understand cellular respiration more. thanks leslie!
ReplyDelete-Ashley L. 7A
The animations were great! now i understand more about cellular respiration and photosynthesis.
ReplyDeleteElliot W. 7B
Thanks for posting this video it further helped me understand cellular respiration
ReplyDeletealthough this animation was really helpful, some of steps out of 3 were a bit too sophisticated for my taste. But either way... thanks!!!!!

^_^...
the video was very helpful
ReplyDeleteMatthew N. 7B
At first, I was really confused how glycolysis worked. Now, I understand it!
ReplyDeleteThank you Leslie!
Camille C. 7A
I liked the input, output boxes... It really explained cellular respiration in detail!
ReplyDeleteMackenzie C. 7G
I really liked the part where they said the cellular respiration in reverse.
ReplyDeletematthew -g
This was really helpful thanks for posting it.
ReplyDeleteNicolaj C. 7F
this is kind of confusing but the video kind of clears it up
ReplyDeleteElijah C.7F
I really loved how the video gave me another way to remember the formulas for photosynthesis and cellular respiration!
ReplyDeleteZi Ying C.
I learned a lot from this!
ReplyDelete~Kimberly C. 7G
this helped me better understand cellular respiration. thanks leslie!
ReplyDeleteThalia R 7A
This animation was an awesome reprrsentation of cellular respiration.

This has helped a lot! Thanks Leslie!
ReplyDelete-Gaby D 7E
This was a great help because I now better understand cellular respiration. Thank you!
ReplyDelete~Inga Tjo.
i really love these videos.and even though we dont need to know about glycolosis, i understand it now.
ReplyDeleteLydia W. 7G
The analogy about the car needing fuel, like we need energy was helpful!
ReplyDelete-Edie H 7G
that's a good way to think of it! cellular respiration is the opposite of photosynthesis!
ReplyDelete-Edie H. 7G
This was very helpful
ReplyDeleteEthan S 7B
oh I get it!!! Wait there are three steps to cellular respiration? Wow. Thanks leslie.
